U10 & Older: MO Hockey

2025-2026 Regular Season Details

Our Falcons (coed) and Lady Falcons (all-girls) hockey teams participate in a competitive, skill-based league. All teams, regardless of skill level, follow the same club-wide development model to provide consistent training and equal growth opportunities. Teams typically practice 2–3 times per week and play mostly local games, with occasional travel depending on team preferences.

Important: Players should have basic skating skills before joining. If additional skating development is needed, the Learn to Play and Continue to Play programs are available to help build the necessary foundation. If you have any questions, please ask.

Cost

Club Fees

U10-U14 Club Cost (both Falcons & Lady Falcons programs):

  • Forwards & Defense: $2,295
  • Goalies: $1,845

A late registration fee of $100 will be applied to the total payment after August 3rd.

We offer two payment options:

  • Pay it all at once
  • Split into 6 even installments: 1st payment due at registration and remaining billed automatically on Oct 1st, Nov 1st, Dec 1st, Jan 1st and Feb 1st. (A late fee of $25 will be added to any failed installment payments that are 30 days or more past due)

Team Fees

Team fees are mandatory and are determined by each individual team after evaluations have concluded. These fees typically cover tournament fees, team events, and more. They are separate from the club registration fee listed above. To ensure fairness, all team fees must be split equally among the families on that team, unless a different arrangement is mutually agreed upon by the team members.

Additional Fees

The club fee does not include costs for annual USA Hockey membership, required hockey equipment, game jerseys or socks, travel, lodging, or any other expenses related to participation.

Game Jersey Fittings

All U10 and older participants are required to purchase a set of game jerseys and socks, and to select a permanent jersey number (based on availability). These items are typically usable for two seasons, depending on growth, and will remain the player's property.

If your player already has game jerseys and socks, please ensure they still fit. If not, a new set must be purchased and a fitting attended. If you only need replacement game socks, those details will be communicated after evaluations have concluded.

Cost

  • $290.
  • Includes a set of both home and away game jerseys and socks.
  • These are not included in the listed club fee.

Fitting Dates

  • 2011-2015 Birth Years: Fitting dates will be communicated soon.
  • 2016 Birth Years: If your player is a 2016 birth year (new to U10) we will have a specific fitting for them on July 24th from 5pm-9pm. Sign up for a fitting time slot (opens noon on Friday July 11th). They will need to pick an EVEN jersey number; subject to availability. You will give this number at the time of fitting.

Volunteer Policy

Chesterfield Hockey is a volunteer-led organization, and we rely on families to help create a great experience for our players.

Each family is asked to complete 4 volunteer hours during the season (one requirement per family, regardless of how many kids are enrolled). Opportunities will be posted on the club website.

Prefer not to volunteer? You can choose the Buy-Out Option during registration for a non-refundable $100 fee, charged at the time of submission.

Unmet volunteer hours will be billed at the end of the season.

Frequently Asked Questions

ZIP Code Eligibility for Coed Teams
All boys must reside within the club’s designated ZIP code boundaries. For details, please refer to the Missouri Hockey website.
Note: This rule also applies to any girl wishing to play on a coed team.
ZIP Code Rules for Girls Teams
Players may live in any ZIP code provided they register for an All-Girls program such as our Lady Falcons program.
Note: If you have previously registered with another all-girls club (St. Louis Cyclones or Affton Lady Liberty) please reach out to our Lady Falcons Director - Kellen.Long@chesterfieldhockey.com before registering. There are certain districting rules that may be applicable.
Neck Guards
Per USA Hockey and Chesterfield Hockey mandates, all players are required to wear neck laceration protection while on the ice - both practices and games.
What are evaluations?
Evaluations are used to group players with others of similar skill levels based on their current abilities. Attendance at all evaluation sessions is mandatory unless otherwise instructed.
What is the schedule for this program?
Schedules will vary week to week, but all ice times will be age-appropriate. We do not offer fixed schedules for any programs outside of Learn to Play and Continue to Play. Practices and games will be at different locations throughout the season.
Goalies
Full-time goalie registration includes club-sponsored goalie training clinics. Details will be provided after the season begins.
Additionally: Starting at the U10 level, players must choose to register as either a skater or a goalie for the entire season. This designation will determine how they are evaluated and placed on a team. Unlike the U6 and U8 programs, this decision must be made prior to evaluations.
Required Equipment Colors (U10 and Older)
All players at the U10 level and above must have a black helmet, black gloves (primary color), and black pants (primary color). Accent colors such as white, gray, or red are acceptable, but black must remain the dominant color.
What if my child is injured and can't attend evaluations?
We have a procedure in place for these situations. When a player is unable to participate in evaluations due to injury, we rely on existing data and, when possible, input from their previous coaches. We will make every effort to place them appropriately for the season.
Where will practices and games be held?
We own and operate both the Maryville University Hockey Center and Pacific Ice Rink. Practices will generally be scheduled at one of these two facilities throughout the season, though we reserve the right to use other venues if necessary.
Home league games will most likely take place at Maryville University Hockey Center or Pacific Ice Rink, but this cannot be guaranteed. Away games will be held at the facilities used by the opposing teams.
Once teams are formed, the coaches and team managers will coordinate with their counterparts at other clubs to determine the specific dates and times for home and away games.
Refund Policy & Codes of Conduct
Before registering, be sure to review and understand the refund policy and codes of conduct.
