U10 & Older: MO Hockey

Our Falcons (coed) and Lady Falcons (all-girls) teams play in a competitive, skill-based league. Every team — regardless of skill level — follows the same club-wide development model for consistent training and equal growth. Teams practice 2–3x per week, play mostly local games, and travel occasionally by team preference.

Players need basic skating skills to join. If your player needs to build that foundation, our Learn to Play and Continue to Play programs can help — just ask.

USA Hockey birth years:

• U10 — 2016 & 2017
• U12 — 2014 & 2015
• U14 — 2012 & 2013

This is how we place every player on a team for the season — attendance at all assigned sessions is mandatory. All sessions are held at the Maryville University Hockey Center.

Stay current. It is 100% your responsibility to keep up with schedule and detail changes. Don't expect an email — check this page often, including throughout evaluations. We reserve the right to change the schedule at any time, for any reason.

Bring to every session: a water bottle, freshly sharpened skates, and no-name practice jerseys. Skaters bring one WHITE set and one BLACK set; goalies bring multiple jerseys in any color except white or black.

Group assignments are posted closer to each session. After each evaluation, check back for your player's next group.

Make every effort to attend. Evaluations determine your player's team and skill-level placement for the entire season, so missing them can directly affect where they're placed. If you truly can't make a session, submit the "We can't make evaluations" Google Form (coming soon) — and remember you must still register before evaluations begin. Missing due to injury? We place players using existing data and, where possible, prior-coach input.

2026–2027 club fee:

• Forwards & Defense — $2,495
• Goalies — $1,845

A $100 late registration fee applies after the registration deadline.

Pay in full, or in 6 installments — a deposit at registration, then five auto-billed payments on Oct 1, Nov 1, Dec 1, Jan 1, and Feb 1. Each payment runs $415.85 (skaters) or $307.50 (goalies). (A $25 late fee applies to any installment 30+ days past due.)

The club fee does not include USA Hockey membership, equipment, game jerseys or socks, or travel and lodging.

Mandatory and set by each team after evaluations — typically covering tournaments and team events. Separate from the club fee, and split equally among the team's families unless the team agrees otherwise.

All U10–U14 players are to be fitted for our new jersey style this season (announced on our Facebook page), returning players included. New players also pick their number — odd birth years pick odd, even birth years pick even, subject to availability.

Bring your shoulder and shin pads. Full payment is due at the fitting, and you'll sign up for a time slot to attend.

• Cost: $250. Includes new home & away game jerseys + new home & away game socks. Extra sets of socks are available at $50. The new jerseys are mandatory to purchase and this fee is not included in the club fee.

Fittings will take place at the Maryville University Hockey Center.

U10 (2017's Only) - by appointment:

• Thursday - July 9th (2017 birth year only) from 5pm-9pm. Sign up for a fitting timeslot

All other times are open fittings by age group. First come first serve. Players will retain existing jersey numbers (unless we perceive a conflict)

U10s

• Saturday - July 11th from 8am-12pm

12U: 

• Thursday - July 16th from 5:30-9pm
• Saturday - July 18th from 8am-12pm

14U:

• Thursday - July 23rd from 5:30-9pm
• Sunday - July 26th from 8am-12pm

Each family completes 4 volunteer hours per season — one requirement per family, no matter how many players you enroll. Prefer not to? Choose the $100 non-refundable Buy-Out at registration. Unmet hours are billed at season's end. Volunteer opportunities & signups will be managed via Crossbar; and will be made available throughout the season.

Want to get your volunteer commitment out of the way early this season? We need help with Jersey Fittings! You must sign up via the Volunteer section of Crossbar to receive credit.

Coed (Falcons) eligibility: Boys must live within the club's designated ZIP boundaries — see the Missouri Hockey website. The same rule applies to any girl playing coed.

All-girls (Lady Falcons): Any ZIP code, as long as you register for an all-girls program. Previously with the St. Louis Cyclones or Affton Lady Liberty? Contact Matt.Jeans@chesterfieldhockey.com before registering — districting rules may apply.

Skater or goalie? Chosen before evaluations and locked for the full season. Full-time goalies get club-sponsored clinics (details after the season starts).

Equipment colors (U10+): Black helmet, gloves, and pants as the primary color; white, gray, or red accents are fine if black stays dominant.

Neck guards: Required at all times on the ice — practices and games.

Schedule & locations: Ice times vary weekly and are age-appropriate; no fixed schedules outside Learn to Play and Continue to Play. Most practices and home games are at our two rinks — Maryville University Hockey Center and Pacific Ice Rink — though other venues may be used. Away games are at the opponent's facility.
