Subject: CHA 2026 Annual Meeting & Board Elections

Dear Chesterfield Hockey Association Members,

The CHA Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 26 at 7:00 PM at the Maryville University Hockey Center (MUHC). A key component is the election of three Board Members (three-year terms). There are three open positions and three candidates running this year, details below.

Voting (in person only at the Maryville University Hockey Center - MUHC):

• May 26: 6:00–7:15 PM (before the annual meeting)
• May 19–21: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM daily (in the Chesterfield Hockey office)
• No email or electronic voting.

Voting Eligibility (all required):

1. Districted to CHA
2. Had a child rostered in the 2025–2026 season (Falcons, Knights, or Lady Falcons)
3. In good financial standing

Candidates (3 open positions):

• Matt Knop (incumbent)
• Tim McCarthy (incumbent)
• Chris Schepis

Continuing Board Members:

• Craig Beck (’27) | Nicole Kupaks (’27) | Matt Jeans (’27)
• Sheila Waddell (’28) | Colin Patrick (’28) | Greg Papuga (’28)

Annual Meeting Agenda Highlights

This year’s meeting will place a strong focus on the MUHC third sheet expansion project, including timelines, scope, and fundraising plans critical to bringing the project to life. We will also share updates on our growing partnership with Maryville University and how this expansion supports long-term program growth.

Additional agenda items include:

• Recap of the 2025–2026 season
• Key program updates for 2026–2027
• Future club priorities

We also recognize club President, Mark Kraus, for 14 years of service and his appointment as Director Emeritus. Following the election, the Board will select a new President per bylaws.
